The Criminal Justice Committee is going to report its Issue Cut at the Rally. Virginia Donnal reported to us that it would most likely be about the criminalization of undocumented immigrants driving without a license.
For those who would like some background on the issue:
Here are some links to background information that the committee has found. Miami Dade has stopped paying for the detention of immigrants driving without a license. This is viewed as a human rights issue in Miami-Dade. In addition, there is a report entitled,”False Promises: The Failure of Secure Communities in Miami Dade County,” that more fully explains the problem.

Please check with the people you are inviting to the Nehemiah Action to see if they will be able to attend on Monday, March 30, 2014 at the Palm Beach Convention Center. When you arrive at the Rally, find the UUFBR Table to report the names of people who you believe are coming to the Action.
Here are directions: From I95, Take Exit 68/Southern Blvd. to head West on Southern Blvd. If coming from points west, take Southern Blvd. (SR80) east to Military Trail. Get off Southern Blvd. at Military Trail, and head South on Military Trail. Go through one traffic light at Gun Club Rd. The church will be immediately on your right.
