Save the Seven Principles Group

Meets: 2nd Fridays at 3:00 PM starting Friday, January 12th

The purpose of the Save the Seven Principles Group is to advocate for the preservation of the seven principles as the primary statement of Unitarian Universalism with only minor modifications. We argue that statements of Unitarian Universalist principles or values should be timeless, universal, and come from religious rather than political perspectives.

We study the Seven Principles and alternative proposed statements of principles or values for the Unitarian Universalist faith. We try to provide faithful guidance on these alternatives to UUFBRF and the UUA. We listen to differing points of view on such statements with an open mind and discuss their strengths and weaknesses.
