On Wednesday, October 8th from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the intersection of Marina Way and SE 1st Street there will be an educational meeting about King Tides, and the affects of Sea Level Rise in Delray Beach.On October 8th the High Tide will be among the highest for the year, and its effects can be see in the Delray Beach Marina Historic District.
The Delray Beach Rising Waters Task Force will be displaying the traveling UUFBR Sea Level Awareness Program (SLAP) Pole and distributing information about the Palm Beach County survey of residents’ perception of sea level rise as it provides an educational program about the affects of Sea Level Rise on Delray Beach, and what is being done to address them.
