š Winter Solstice Celebration šÆļø š
Celebrate the seasons change! The winter solstice marks the exact moment when half of Earth is tilted the farthest away from the Sun. Over the world, many groups from many different faith traditions observe this moment of the longest night. At the UU Fellowship of Boca Raton, we host a Winter Solstice Celebration: a special service of song, stories and stillness. In the midst of winter, come discover within what Albert Camus described as “an invincible summer.”
š„ An A-MAZE-INGĀ Pancake Breakfast & Labyrinth Walk
NO morning service on Sunday, December 22nd. However doors will be open at 10 AM for an a-MAZE-ing pancake breakfast. We will be making pancakes for anyone who comes to UUFBR that morning. We will also walk the labyrinth (weather permitting), and the warmth of community with right relations. If you plan to attend, please bring a pancake topping to share (like blueberries, butter, or bacon).

Christmas Eve Candlelight and Carol Service

The world in solemn stillness lay
To hear the angels sing.
Merry Christmas! Join us on December 24th at 6:30 PM to celebrate the birth of Jesus, a Jewish leader whose life and words have changed the minds and hearts of many to the side of goodness, generosity and caring. This evening service will be full of beautiful music, words, accompaniments and carols, culminating in singing “Silent Night” and lighting ofĀ congregantsā candles. It will be intergenerational so bring children of all ages and your visiting relatives and friends.
Please note: no food or beverage hospitality following the evening service.
GAME NIGHT FRIDAY NIGHT: JANUARY 3rd AT 7:00 PM
Join us in the Osias Hall for an evening filled with fun. Play interactive group and board games from 7 – 9 PM!

MLK Day Parade 2025
The City of Boca Raton commemorates the life and legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with a day of free community events and celebrations on Monday, January 20, 2025. https://www.myboca.us/1468/MLK-Jr-DayĀ
At 10 AM, we will march the mile from the MLK Jr. Memorial, 200 Ruby Street, to the Mizner Park Amphitheater, 590 Plaza Real, along Federal Highway. Trolley service is available for those requiring assistance.

Super Bowl Sunday is coming up on Sunday, February 9, 2025. UUFBR is running a smashmouth offense to tackle hunger: the SUUPERBOWL!Ā Here’s how you can help!
- š²Ā Come to the SUUPERBOWL at UUFBR on Sunday, February 9th at 12 noon. Enjoy delicious soup and chili, cornbread and crackers after our Sunday service. All you care to sup. Guests welcome! Suggested donationĀ $10 in advance, $12 at the door. Or buy a bowl for someone.

š§āāļø Wiccans welcome! Explore Earth-centered spirituality and paganism with fellow UUs. Meetings on 1st and 3rd Monday: the 1st Monday meeting of the month is virtual via Zoom, and the 3rd Monday is in-person in the Parker Room.
The Forum
Healing Justice
Healing Justice is a small group that works together to counter racism wherever it occurs. We recognize that racism is complex and exists at all levels, from individual to societal. Action taken recently includes education for our own congregation about why we are considering incorporating a proposed 8th Principle. More direct recent action includes supporting UU the Vote as a precursor to upending structural racism in our nation. Healing Justice meets on the 4th Tuesday of each month, except for November 2024, when it will meet on November 19th.
Movie Group
The Movie Group is on hiatus for the summer. Watch this space for more info.
Never leave the comfort of your home. Make your own popcorn! Watch a movie thatās free on Netflix at any time during the week then join the group on Saturday afternoon for a sharing of views and discussion. The movies are suggested by group members and selections are by group vote. This page is updated weekly. You can bookmark it as a reference.
Book Club
The Book Club is on hiatus for the summer. Watch this space for more info.
The Book Club meets on the third Wednesday of each month to discuss a book selected by the presenter for that month. We read fiction and non-fiction and varied genres. Itās a great way to enjoy books and meet new people.

Join us at UUFBR for a GAME NIGHT on the first Friday of each month from 7:00-9:00 PM.

Meeting on the second Wednesday of the month at 2 p.m. at the Unitarian Fellowship.

Chalice Choir
š¼ Our Chalice Choir is open to all members and friends. Rehearsals are on Wednesday Evenings at 6:30 p.m. in the sanctuary
The choir helps lead Sunday morning worship each Sunday. The choir also participates in the Solstice and Christmas Eve services.
